Lawrence Mbenjere is a Lilongwe best musician whose music is currently popular on the Malawian local music market. Lawrence Mbenjere was born on 23 December 1979, and comes from Mdakwa Village, T/A Simphasi in Mchinji. Most of Mbenjere’s music is traditional, and no wonder he idolizes Oliver Mtukudzi of Zimbabwe and Shakabundu who are famous for their traditional beats.
